The MCCA' Advent Message

Grace and peace to you in this blessed Advent season.

As we journey toward the celebration of the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we are reminded that Advent is more than a countdown to Christmas it is a sacred season of preparation. We eagerly anticipate the coming of the Christ-child, and we look forward with hope to His promised return.

In this holy time, God calls us not only to ready our hearts, but also to prepare our communities. True preparation means striving for a society that reflects His justice, fairness, and peace. It means embracing a life shaped by righteousness, compassion, and grace. When we love God with our whole being, we cannot help but extend that love to one another.

As a Connexion, may we open our hearts anew to the movement of the Holy Spirit. May this Advent fill us with renewed faith, deeper unity, and a greater desire to serve God by building a world marked by peace and love.

May we be found ready ready in spirit, ready in action, and ready in love.
